Refund and Warranty Policy

This policy outlines the warranty, refund, and return procedures for products purchased
through Sport Shack. “You” refers to the customer, and “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to
Sport Shack.

  1. Warranty Coverage
    All products sold through Sport Shack come with guarantees under the Australian
    Consumer Law, and our policy does not limit your statutory rights.
    In addition, Sport Shack offers a 12-month warranty on products found to be faulty or damaged, except:
    • Where a different warranty period is stated on the product listing
    • For accessories or bonus gifts
    • If damage is due to:
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Improper assembly or modification
    • Abnormal use or abuse
    • Lack of maintenance or care
    • Damage to external packaging only
    Warranty claims are assessed case-by-case. Depending on the issue, we may:
    • Send missing parts
    • Suggest self-repair methods
    • Replace the product (subject to availability)
    • Offer an alternative product
    • Provide a partial or full refund or credit voucher
  2. Making a Warranty Claim
    To lodge a warranty claim, please contact us with:
    • Your order number
    • Quantity and description of faulty/missing items
    • Clear images or video showing:
    • The fault or missing part
    • The product in original packaging (if applicable)
    • Instruction manual with the issue indicated (if applicable)
    • A brief explanation of the issue and your preferred resolution (refund, credit, or
    replacement)
    Important: Do not dispose of the item before your claim is finalized. We may request inspection. If disposed of prematurely, we reserve the right to deny the claim.
    If a return is required, we will provide a return label. If no valid claim is found and a
    return label was not used, postage costs will not be refunded.
  3.  Delivery Delays
    Delivery delays must be reported within 10 working days of dispatch. We will
    investigate with our courier partner and offer remedies in line with Australian Consumer Law.
  4. Refunds, Replacements & Missing Parts
    If a refund or replacement is approved:
    • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
    • Replacements or spare parts will be dispatched promptly, subject to availability
    • If a product is returned due to address errors or incorrect returns, additional fees
    may apply
  5. Change of Mind Returns
    We do not accept change of mind returns for:
    • Health and safety products
    • Bulk purchases (e.g., pallet orders)
    • Opened packages
    Other change of mind requests are considered only if made within 14 days of delivery.
    You must provide:
    • Clear images or video of the product’s condition
    • Explanation of the reason for return
    Returns must be arranged by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
  6. Fees for Change of Mind Returns
    If a change of mind return is accepted, the following fees apply:
    • DropshipZone restocking fee: 10% of item price + shipping
    • Sport Shack processing fee: Additional 10% of item price
    • Total deduction: 20% of item price + shipping
    Refunds will be processed after the item is received and inspected.
    Return to Sender (RTS) due to incorrect address or unclaimed parcels will also be
    treated as change of mind returns and incur the same 20% deduction.
  7. Product Recalls
    In the event of a product recall, we will notify you of the appropriate procedure.
